Projects

After-school Club

The Playgroup and After-school Club provide and invaluable service and support in enabling mothers to pursue training and/or education as a way back into employment.

Bunscoil & Naiscoil

The Trust has entered recently into a partnership with the Management Committee of a new primary school (bunscoil) and nursery school (naiscoil) by providing facilities where local children receive their education through the medium of Irish.

Disability project

The Trust is committed to integrating able-bodied and disabled people through a wide range of activities.

Older People's Group

In partnership with established community groups in the area, the Trust is working with older people enabling them to make the most of the 'third age'.

Pathways Project

A partnership initiative with the Education and Library Board, Pathways works with teenagers who are experiencing difficulties at school.

Pre-School Playgroup

The 174 trust Playgroup was established in 1995 to address the needs of the children in the New Lodge / Duncairn area of North Belfast.

Young Carers Activity Project

The project is an activity based learning programme to promote personal development. The six month programme focuses on the Award scheme (Duke of Edinburgh, President’s Award and the International Award for Youth) so the young person has set goals f
