The Trust has entered recently into a partnership with the Management Committee of a new primary school (bunscoil) and nursery school (naiscoil) by providing facilities where local children receive their education through the medium of Irish.

The school is open to all children regardless of their religious, cultural or political background and is managed by a group of parents and local volunteers. Adult Irish language classes are also offered.

US Consul General Visits the 174 Trust to celebrate the American Ireland Fund Award

174 Trust was delighted to be visited by Ms Kamala Lakhdhir-US Consul General in NI to celeberate the recent $30000 award by the American Ireland Fund and showcase the cross community young footballers project that Trust had been involved in.
